Hi everyone,
Alas, no Tickets this week, but I'll be back next Wednesday with, perhaps, some changes to the format.
Meanwhile, for those of you who happen to speak French, I've started a podcast experiment with my sparring partner Alex Gervais, and it's called Full Stack Banana. I think it's a decent little project, and we enjoy doing it.
The podcast’s home is right here on Substack, but you can find the show wherever you happen to catch your audio content (i.e. Apple, Spotify, Google, etc.).
This is the directional statement I wrote when developing the idea:
We increasingly live in a state of permanent present, where the ‘current thing’ is magnified, amplified, and dramatized. But if we take a step back from the tyranny of now and investigate what happens behind the scenes, what do we find? In this show, we investigate what a basic scaffolding for life might look like.
That explains the ‘stack’ part of the name: the idea of scaffolding coupled with ideas around “legacy” (preserving memories, beliefs, personality, and expectations about the future) and intergenerational transmission.
The ‘banana’ part comes from the fact that each concept in the stack is meant to be nutritious, complete, portable, and practical. (Just like, well…)
So this is the high-level framing around this new conversation project. If you are curious, please give it a listen and let us know what you think, by leaving comments or encouragements on the show page.
Thanks for reading through!
